Fieldnote UI — Godot 4 Themes & Icons

A small interface you can actually run.

Fieldnote UI pairs a cream-and-moss visual style with a complete Godot example. Switch to the night palette, search an inventory, select items with the keyboard, sort them and try the controls before adapting the source to your own game.

Included

• 32 original outline icon designs, each in dark and light colors, as SVG and PNG.
• Two Godot Theme resources, with normal, hover, pressed, disabled and keyboard-focus button states.
• Button images in two sizes, panels in three sizes, checkbox and slider images. 92 SVG files plus 92 PNG equivalents overall; color and size variants are included in that total.
• A working inventory and settings example with editable GDScript.
• Step-by-step setup and a commercial-use license. No attribution required.

The sampler contains 8 icon designs in both colors and both formats. It uses the same commercial-use license as the full pack. It does not include the full themes or example project.

How to use it

Extract the ZIP and import godot/project.godot in Godot. For an existing project, copy the fieldnote_ui folder into its root and assign one of its Theme resources to a Control node. Child controls inherit the theme.

The example demonstrates in-memory UI state. It does not include an audio system, cloud saving or persistent inventory. The themes use scalable StyleBoxFlat borders; loose image panels include nine-slice guidance.

Compatibility and disclosure

Tested in Godot 4.6.2 on macOS, including a clean import of the distributed ZIP. Windows/Linux and other engine versions have not been independently tested. No Unity or Unreal integration is included. SVG/PNG files can be used in other tools with your own setup.

Original vector paths and code were developed with AI assistance. No competitor assets or external font files are included. You may use and modify the pack in personal, commercial and client projects; do not redistribute it as a standalone asset pack. See the included license.
